Introduction of DIOnavi Surgey Guide System
DIOnavi is one of the most accurate methods of implant surgery which is applied by surgery guide & static navigation method. In the complete digital DIOnavi method, patient’s oral conditions are simulated through software, using exact patient’s information including CBCT files and oral scan, based on which digital treatment process is programmed and applied.
Dio Pars Digital Center Services
After the primary design, pictures of the design together with fixture information and significant surgery points such as the need to GBR or Sinus Lift, are sent to dentist through e-mail. The Dentist can study the design and let us know his intended changes or confirmation. Following dentist confirmation , the final design for making guide is done.
(DDA (DIO Digital Academy
DIOnavi Training Courses
In the 1st four surgeries (2 basic cases & 2 advanced cases), supervisor of Dio Pars Co. will supervises the surgeries.
Case Selection
Which patients are suitable for DIOnavi surgery?
Dentist has to study rate of using sigar and alcohol, bone conditions, need to bone grafting and soft tissue in patient. Acquaintance of dentist with DIOnavi system and the number of surgeries he has done through the system, are also effective in case selection. After passing DIOnavi Basic Course, dentist must work on 5 simple cases, then take part in DIOnavi Advanced Course. After completing this course, dentist will be able to do all implant surgeries with the system. After case selection, dentist will send patient’s information based on the instructions on the website: www.dionavi.ir.
Required Information for Every Patient
There are three methods to do oral scan:
Dentist should recognize need or lack of splint need for CBCT. A patient who has low & inadjacent toothlessness, doesn’t need splint while for a patient who has a lot of metal amendments or toothlessness, splint should be made.
Splint is made by casting patient’s mouth, making plaster cast and then it is sent to Dio Pars Digital Center. Later, dentist sets patient’s bite with the splint in his mouth and refers patient to a radiology center confirmed by Dio Pars Co. for CBCT splint.
Advantages of DIOnavi
Surgery Through DIOnavi
Before Surgery, a pack including following items is sent to dentist:
Note1: Dentist has to study all the above items before surgery and be confident of their accuracy.
Note2: Before surgery, dentist has to be sure about setting guide in patient’s mouth.
Note3: Dentist has to study surgical report, drilling protocol and drilling sequence carefully, and do surgery based on them.
“Ephemeral Implant” means delivering crown and abutment simultaneously on implant surgery day and is possible regarding patient’s bone conditions and according to dentist’s diagnosis.
Immediate loading is not recommended in following cases:

Cooperation Conditions with DIOnavi:
CAD/CAM (Digital Center)
CAD/CAM are acronyms for Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing which mean “to design & produce by computer”, and are applied in engineering and manufacturing, extensively. Less than two decades ago, CAD/CAM have been applied as methods for making high quality dental prostheses. They are also applicable in less than few minutes instead of few days.
CAD shows a 3D picture of tooth and gum and makes accurate prosthesis design possible with dentist’s desired functional features and aesthetic aspect.
After finishing design by software, output is sent to the production software (CAM). This software processes the designed dental prosthesis and determines the pathway of milling machine tools to manufacture dental prosthesis by creating numeral codes and dynamic coordination of milling machine axis. Finally, the numeral codes produced by CNC milling machine are applied and prosthetic parts are manufactured.
CAD/CAM technology is such accurate that in most cases the manufactured dental prostheses using them are much better than man-made prostheses. Moreover, patient’s satisfaction increases because of decrease in design and manufacture time. Using CAD/CAM technology, dentist also controls final outcome completely, since all phases (from 0-100) can be done under his supervision while in ordinary ways prostheses are usually manufactured by laboratory’s technicians that haven’t met the patient.
CAD/CAM technology decreases total time of design process with possibility of 3D shapes and manufactured prostheses have both adaptation and life.
