Crown lengthening surgery is a periodontal surgical procedure aimed at increasing the clinical crown length of a tooth by reshaping, repositioning, or removing gingival tissue and, when necessary, recontouring the surrounding alveolar bone. This procedure enables proper restoration and continuation of dental treatment by providing adequate tooth structure and biological space.
This course is designed to enhance participants’ understanding and clinical skills in crown lengthening procedures, particularly in esthetic and functional cases.

Experience in managing gummy smile cases
Knowledge of dental imaging
Ability to interpret panoramic and periapical radiographs
Familiarity with CBCT for evaluation of bone and soft tissue
Understanding of biological and esthetic principles in dentistry
Knowledge of esthetic proportions between teeth, gingiva, and lips
Understanding of the biological relationship between gingiva and teeth
